Full-scale war dashed all my dreams of traveling and studying Ukraine. I caught myself thinking that I was actually living one day at a time. I don't make plans so that I don't get disappointed and lose heart. My life now seems to be on pause, as if time has stopped. The only thing that can unblock the passage of time is the victory of Ukraine in the war that the Russian Federation started back in 2014.
